تعد 'الحداثة' معيا رًا لكل ما هو علوي وسلطوي؛ إذ ترفض الإقرار بالغيبيات، وتعتبر الإنسان هو المركز&#13;
والإله، في حين تقدس 'ما بعد الحداثة' اللا مطلق، اللا ثبات، وتمنح الهامش اهتمامها الكلي. أين ذهبت وهشمت&#13;
صورة الإله الحداثي وكل وعوده الكاذبة وتغنت بالنسق السائل والبساطة.&#13;
- إ ن التناقض بين 'الحداثة' و'ما بعد الحداثة' بين 'الصلب' و'السائل' يحيل إلى حقيقة كون الثانية ردة فعل&#13;
شديدة العنف على الْولى، إذ جاءت لتكسر وتحطم كل المعايير والمقاييس السلطوية التي وضعها المستعم رون لخدمة&#13;
رؤيتهم الفلسفية المريضة والناقصة

<title>The Effects of Brainwriting Strategy on EFL Middle School Learners’ W riting Proficiency</title>
<link>http://dspace.univ-jijel.dz:8080/xmlui/handle/123456789/13496</link>
<description>The Effects of Brainwriting Strategy on EFL Middle School Learners’ W riting Proficiency
BEN BRAHIM, Amel
This study investigated the effectiveness of the brainwriting strategy in enhancing writing proficiency among fourth-grade middle school Algerian learners. More specifically, the study had two main objectives: firstly, to examine the impact of using the brainwriting strategy on writing proficiency, and secondly, to gauge the learners’ perspectives on the major difficulties they face in writing tasks and their opinions on the utility of the brainwriting strategy. Thus, it was hypothesized that implementing the brainwriting strategy would lead to improved writing skills among the learners.

<description>The Effect of Intercultural Communicative Competence on Students’ Comprehension of Idioms
ZAIMEN, Selma; BOUMAZA, Aida
Idioms are part of both language and culture. The present research work examined the influence of intercultural communicative competence on the comprehension of English idioms among second-year English students. Specifically, it aimed to determine the source of difficulties in understanding idioms, provide insights into which aspects pose a greater challenge for English students, and examine the effect of the existing intercultural communicative competence on the process of idiom comprehension. Theoretically, it was hypothesized that there is a correlation between students’ intercultural communicative competence and their idiom comprehension process

<title>Exploring the Factors Influencing the Use of Artificial Intelligence in EFL Learning and Teaching</title>

<description>Exploring the Factors Influencing the Use of Artificial Intelligence in EFL Learning and Teaching
BOUCHIREB, Imane; ZAZOUA, Nada; CHAIBEDDRA, Samira( supervised)
The field of English as a foreign language (EFL) learning and teaching is constantly&#13;
evolving due to advancements in educational research and technology and among the latest&#13;
developments, artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a significant trend in this field.&#13;
The current research aimed to explore the factors influencing EFL undergraduate students’&#13;
use of artificial intelligence at the Department of English, University of Jijel. Given its&#13;
descriptive nature, the study adopted a quantitative research approach through using two&#13;
questionnaires as research tools to collect the required data and reach the study’s aims. The&#13;
first questionnaire, the student questionnaire, was handed to 153 out of 794 EFL&#13;
undergraduates. The second one, the teacher questionnaire, was designed and distributed to&#13;
21 EFL teachers out of 60 teachers at the Department of English, University of jijel to&#13;
elicit their views on the use of AI in the EFL context. The findings revealed that EFL&#13;
undergraduates extensively use artificial intelligence tools in their EFL learning, with&#13;
ChatGPT being the most utilized tool. Importantly, the study identified that English&#13;
proficiency level, perceived need, accessibility and flexibility, and perceived effectiveness&#13;
are among the key factors affecting undergraduates' use of artificial intelligence in EFL&#13;
learning. Finally, the results showed that EFL teachers generally hold positive views on the&#13;
use of artificial intelligence in the EFL context, despite having some concerns. However, it&#13;
was found that they do not specifically influence their students’ use of artificial&#13;
intelligence. Based on the above findings, some pedagogical recommendations and&#13;
suggestions for further research were provided
