dc.description.abstract The success of online learning systems depends on the students’ experiences of and attitudes towards this mode of learning. This research paper dealt with attitudes of second year licence students of English at Mohammed Seddik Ben Yahia University Jijel towards online learning. The overall aim of the study was to shed light on students’ perceptions and attitudes towards online learning, and to explore the possible factors that affect these attitudes. To achieve this aim, a questionnaire was addressed to 50 students. The results revealed that sencond year students have positive attitudes towards online learning. Moreover, the results showed that the most important key factors that affect students' attitudes towards online learning are generally the proficiency in using online educational technologies, the quality of the system, the internet connection quality, the teachers’ interaction and some students' psychological issues. fr_FR
