dc.description.abstract Speaking is considered as a very important language skill that EFL learners should master. The difficulties that students face in their oral performance classes get the teachers to try some methods and techniques such as storytelling in order to boost their speaking skill .The aim of this research is to investigate teachers’ and students’ attitudes towards the use of storytelling to improve EFL students’ speaking skill. Two questionnaires administered to 60 second year LMD students and 7 oral expression teachers at the department of English at Mohammed Seddik ben yahia University. The results obtained from the questionnaires confirmed that both teachers and students hold positive attitudes toward the usefulness of storytelling in enhancing EFL students’ speaking skill fr_FR
