Résumé:
This research work aims at investigating students’ and teachers’ perceptions towards the role of
Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in enhancing EFL learners’ motivation in language
learning . To answer our research questions, two questionnaires were administered to collect data at the
English department of Mohamed Seddik ben yahia during the second term of the academic year
2021/2022. Fifty-nine (59) Master one English students, option of didactics, were the sample of our
target population which consisted of (177) students. Besides eight (8) questionnaires were randomly
distributed to teachers of the same department. The results obtained from the collected data provided
two main points. First, both students and teachers are aware of the importance of using ICT as support
tools in the learning process. Second, most of them show support for integrating these technologies into
the classrooms. The analysis of the results reveals that the perception of students and teachers regarding
the role of ICT in enhancing English as a Foreign Language learners’ motivation is highly positive.
