Résumé:
The ability to speak is such an important and primary skill that learners of English have to learn
proficiently. However, it seems that students have trouble achieving this objective, particularly
when it comes to fluency. The current investigation aimed to examine EFL learners’ beliefs
towards adopting Extracurricular activities (ECAs) to improve their speaking fluency. It was
assumed that participating in extracurricular activities would help EFL learners to improve
their speaking fluency. To assess this assumption, this study utilized a combination of
quantitative and qualitative research approaches. The data was gathered through a
questionnaire and a focus administered to students from the Bridge club. The questionnaire
was completed by 33 English language students from all levels who are at the same time
members of the Bridge club. Furthermore, a focus group session involving eight students who
are participants in the Bridge club was organized
