dc.description.abstract |
The use of the sun as an energy source has gained a lot of attention over the past few
years and the use of sunlight in particular for energy production is a major topic that
generates great importance in the use of clean renewable energy. For a good study of PV
cells, an equivalent electrical circuit has been made based on diodes to represent the PN
junction of the chemical cell, it is a current source in parallel with a diode (case of a
single diode model). The main goal of this Master's thesis is to optimize the performance
of PVs using a metaheuristic optimization method when the mathematical equation of
the equivalent circuit of the PV is already known. In addition, we solve some PV
problems based on artificial intelligence techniques combined with an optimization
algorithm to predict the model and the output of the cell. |
