With the increasing accessibility of technology for everyday people, things are starting to get digitalized: digital camera, cligital cable, digital sourxl, and digital video. It is no longer the case whera a video production is only possible for specialized studios. The availability of various user'-fiendly, ine:<pensive tools is pushing protiol
pictures into individual computer owners. The digital forgeries though not visibly
identifiable to human perception it may alter or meddle with underlyig natural
statistics of digital content. Tamperig involves fiddling with video content in order
to cause damage or make unauthorized alteration/modification. Tampering irnpacts
need to be studied and the applied technique/method is used to establish thc factual
information for legal coulse in judiciarl'. in this report we presenting diifferent types of video folgery iu the first chapter and dletection techniques both in active and
