Résumé:
Teachers feel that their teaching proficiency was not adequate when they
started teaching at private schools because the pre-service training course did not evoke the
use of the integrated methods being used in private schools. Private school teachers suggest
adding certain modules to the pre-service training course to make it more compatible with
their needs as teaching techniques and presentation modules. Thus, the findings make it clear
that the pre-service training course does not address the private schoolteachers’ real needs.
Furthermore, throughout the research some pedagogical recommendations have been
suggested in order to make the needs of teachers at private schools included in the design of
the training course.
