Abstract

his studybasied on howThe phenomenon of Islamophobiarepresented one ofthe most important social phenomena in the world and inAmerican society in particularand control the way of the american stratigy. Islamophobia means fear ofMuslims and Islam and their practices, Islam was distinguished from other religions in America and associated with stereotypes reinforcedby the attacks of the 11th September 2001.Many factors helped spread The phenomenon, such as the American media and the American think tanks,the Islamophobia, was clear in the discourse of Thesefactors, in addition to the type of discourse prevalent in the American media directed at public opinion to gain popular support as a basis for legitimizing acts against Islam. After the 11th September2001, the transformation ofIslam from a societal problem to a security problem through the logic of security, where Islam has become a violent ideology that incites terrorism, is fueled by the strategy of Preventivestrikes and Proactive strikesIn the Middle East where terrorism has become the violent face of Islamin manyIslamic countries such as Iraq the islamic state which seeking to possess weapons of mass destruction.The post-September 11 US strategy sought to emphasize the violence of Islam and Muslims as a threat to US national identity on the one hand and American and international security on the other, which turned its strategy in the Middle East after 9/11
