Résumé:
Introversion as a social phenomenon takes parts as well in the educational
setting. However, this phenomenon is still a struggle from many researchers
and educators in EFL classes because of the lack of implementing efficient
classroom strategies that may help this category of introversion to be involved
in their EFL classes. Through the present study, the researcher emphasized
the role of EFL teachers to help the introvert learners to be involved in EFL
classes.
The data were collected by dint of personality test, pupils ‘questionnaire, and
classroom observation. The personality test aimed to find out the number of
both the introverts and extroverts.Then, the pupils’ questionnaire was
designed for the purpose of exploring the behavior pattern of both
extroversion-introversion and their influence on the process of foreign
language learning. The classroom observation, on the other hand, was
conducted to observe the introvert learners ‘performance in EFL classes
besides to the teacher’s strategies he adopted to help his introvert learners.
The analysis of the research findings consistently showed a great negligence
on the part of EFL teachers towards the introvert learners in EFL classes.
Therefore, it is highly requested to take into consideration the Pedagogic
recommendations offered by the end for future fields of research.
