Abstract:
The current study aims at investigating the attitudes of learners of English as a foreign
language, towards the effect of their teachers’ written feedback on their writing skill. It aims also
to figuring out whether it helps them improving their writing performance. Thus, it is assumed
that EFL learners have positive attitudes towards teachers’ written feedback on their writing
skill.To check the validity of the research assumption, a questionnaire was administered to
seventy (70) second and third year students of English at Mohammed Seddik Ben Yehia
University, Jijel. The results proved that learners appreciate the written comments and declared
that this type of feedback is useful and helps them improving their writing. Overall, the findings
revealed that learners have positive attitudes towards the effects of their teachers’ written
feedback
