dc.description.abstract This study seeks to explore second-year students’ attitudes towards the use of blended learning to enhance their speaking skill. Learning how to speak is considered as one of the challenging tasks which seemingly EFL learners fail to acquire due to the lack of speaking opportunities inside and outside the classroom. For this reason, teachers need to implement new innovative methods that provide them with better chances and facilitate the teaching of the speaking skill. In an attempt to find effective methods to enhance the speaking skill, the study suggests using blended learning as a teaching method that combines both traditional learning and online learning. The researchers hypothesize that implementing blended learning in EFL classes has a positive effect on improving students’ speaking skill. To test this hypothesis, a quantitative approach was utilized with descriptive statistical data collected using a questionnaire administered to 35 second-year students of English at the University of Jijel. The findings revealed that most of the respondents hold positive attitudes towards blended learning. They believe that blended learning provides them with more speaking opportunities, motivates them to raise their interaction and performance and make the learning process more enjoyable fr_FR
